Impressions of the director
It was an incredible experience working with Arnaud on my short horror film Stick Doll. It was my first time working with a composer and the process was fun and exciting! Previously I had only gotten music from paid music sites like Soundstripe, and WOW what a difference!
Arnaud took the time to get to understand exactly what emotions I wanted to convey in the film, where they should go, and most importantly… why.
He asked all the right questions and was able to answer all of mine. There were several times where I suggested something and Arnaud would explain why he didn’t think it would work - and he was absolutely right! His knowledge of music composition and his professionalism shines through and the end result allowed me to watch my film again for the first time. It was so good it gave me goosebumps and I couldn’t believe that this music was mine to use! It was too good!
I highly recommend Arnaud Drieu to help bring life to your project. My film was two years old, still in the editing bay and I was quickly losing interest and momentum. Arnaud’s score brought new life to the project, gave me the wings to finish it and it will be running in the horror festival circuit this fall! I look forward to working with Arnaud on my next project!
